Raichur District, Karnataka

Raichur District is an administrative district in the state of Karnataka, India. It is situated about 420 km from Bengaluru, the state capital of Karnataka. The district headquarters is located at Raichur. Kannada, Telugu and Urdu are the main languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 8,442 km², including 8,329.59 km² of rural area and 112.41 km² of urban area.
