Chitradurga District, Karnataka

Chitradurga District is an administrative district in the state of Karnataka, India. It is situated about 200 km from Bengaluru, the state capital of Karnataka. The district headquarters is located at Chitradurga. Kannada is the main language spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 8,436 km², including 8,295.99 km² of rural area and 140.01 km² of urban area.
