Ballari District, Karnataka

Ballari District is an administrative district in the state of Karnataka, India. It is situated about 320 km from Bengaluru, the state capital of Karnataka. The district headquarters is located at Ballari. Kannada and Telugu are the main languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 8,461 km², including 8,048.73 km² of rural area and 412.27 km² of urban area.
