Dewas District, Madhya Pradesh

Dewas is an administrative district in Madhya Pradesh, India. The district is located about 155 km from Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh. Its administrative headquarters is in Dewas. Hindi and Malvi are the major languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total area of 7,020 km², including 6,808.49 km² of rural area and 211.51 km² of urban area.
