Shajapur District, Madhya Pradesh

Shajapur District is an administrative district in the state of Madhya Pradesh, India. It is situated about 170 km from Bhopal, the state capital of Madhya Pradesh. The district headquarters is located at Shajapur. Hindi and Malvi are the main languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 6,195 km², including 6,081.96 km² of rural area and 113.04 km² of urban area.
