Ujjain District, Madhya Pradesh

Ujjain is an administrative district in Madhya Pradesh, India. The district is located about 190 km from Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh. Its administrative headquarters is in Ujjain. Hindi and Malvi are the major languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total area of 6,091 km², including 5,896.79 km² of rural area and 194.21 km² of urban area.
