Ratlam

Ratlam is a district in the Madhya Pradesh State of India. Total area of Ratlam is 4,861 km² including 4,749.21 km² rural area and 111.79 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Ratlam has a population of 14,55,069 peoples, out of which urban population is 4,35,031 while rural population is 10,20,038. Ratlam has a sex ratio of approximately 970 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 299.3 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 2,96,683 houses in the district, including 84,829 urban houses and 2,11,854 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 1,053 villages in ratlam district.
