South West Garo Hills District, Meghalaya
South West Garo Hills District is an administrative district in the state of Meghalaya, India. It is situated about 260 km from Shillong, the state capital of Meghalaya. The district headquarters is located at Ampati. Garo (Achik) and Bengali are the main languages spoken in the district.
