South West Garo Hills District, Meghalaya
South West Garo Hills is an administrative district in Meghalaya, India. The district is located about 260 km from Shillong, the capital of Meghalaya. Its administrative headquarters is in Ampati. Garo (Achik) and Bengali are the major languages spoken in the district.
