Peren District, Nagaland

Peren District is an administrative district in the state of Nagaland, India. It is situated about 110 km from Kohima, the state capital of Nagaland. The district headquarters is located at Peren. Zeliang, Zeme, Rongmei, Liangmei and Nagamese are among the main languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 1,651 km², including 1,635.00 km² of rural area and 16.00 km² of urban area.
