Wokha

Wokha is a district in the Nagaland State of India. Total area of Wokha is 1,628 km² including 1,611.00 km² rural area and 17.00 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Wokha has a population of 1,66,343 peoples, out of which urban population is 35,004 while rural population is 1,31,339. Wokha has a sex ratio of approximately 968 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 102.2 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 31,891 houses in the district, including 6,273 urban houses and 25,618 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 151 villages in wokha district.

The Wokha district is further divided in to Circles / Blocks / PS / Community Development Blocks (C.D.Blocks) for administrative purposes.
