Balasore District, Odisha
Balasore is an administrative district in Odisha, India. The district is located about 220 km from Bhubaneswar, the capital of Odisha. Its administrative headquarters is in Balasore. Odia and Bengali are the major languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total area of 3,806 km², including 3,675.32 km² of rural area and 130.68 km² of urban area.
