Mayurbhanj District, Odisha

Mayurbhanj District is an administrative district in the state of Odisha, India. It is situated about 270 km from Bhubaneswar, the state capital of Odisha. The district headquarters is located at Baripada. Odia, Santali, Munda and Ho (tribal) are among the main languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 10,418 km², including 10,309.93 km² of rural area and 108.07 km² of urban area.
