Baleshwar is a district in the Odisha State of India. Total area of Baleshwar is 3,806 km² including 3,675.32 km² rural area and 130.68 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Baleshwar has a population of 23,20,529 peoples, out of which urban population is 2,53,293 while rural population is 20,67,236. The district has a population density of 609.7 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 5,33,001 houses in the district, including 55,567 urban houses and 4,77,434 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 2,635 villages in baleshwar district.
