Bargarh

Bargarh is a district in the Odisha State of India. Total area of Bargarh is 5,837 km² including 5,759.09 km² rural area and 77.91 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Bargarh has a population of 14,81,255 peoples, out of which urban population is 1,50,110 while rural population is 13,31,145. Bargarh has a sex ratio of approximately 977 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 253.8 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 3,70,308 houses in the district, including 34,178 urban houses and 3,36,130 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 1,179 villages in bargarh district.
