Malkangiri District, Odisha

Malkangiri District is an administrative district in the state of Odisha, India. It is situated about 520 km from Bhubaneswar, the state capital of Odisha. The district headquarters is located at Malkangiri. Odia and Gondi (tribal) are the main languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 5,791 km², including 5,766.32 km² of rural area and 24.68 km² of urban area.
