Hoshiarpur District, Punjab

Hoshiarpur District is an administrative district in the state of Punjab, India. It is situated about 90 km from Chandigarh, the state capital of Punjab. The district headquarters is located at Hoshiarpur. Punjabi is the main language spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 3,386 km², including 3,243.71 km² of rural area and 142.29 km² of urban area.
