Tiruppur is a district in the Tamil Nadu State of India. Total area of Tiruppur is 5,187 km² including 4,354.47 km² rural area and 832.53 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Tiruppur has a population of 24,79,052 peoples, out of which urban population is 15,21,111 while rural population is 9,57,941. The district has a population density of 478 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 7,12,210 houses in the district, including 4,29,023 urban houses and 2,83,187 rural houses.
