Kamrup Metro District, Assam
Kamrup Metro is an administrative district in Assam, India. The district is located about 5 km from Dispur, the capital of Assam. Its administrative headquarters is in Guwahati. Assamese, Bengali and Bodo are the major languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total area of 955 km², including 692.57 km² of rural area and 262.43 km² of urban area.
