Kamrup District, Assam
Kamrup is an administrative district in Assam, India. The district is located about 25 km from Dispur, the capital of Assam. Its administrative headquarters is in Amingaon. Assamese, Bengali and Bodo are the major languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total area of 3,105 km², including 3,031.46 km² of rural area and 73.54 km² of urban area.
