Nagaon District, Assam

Nagaon is an administrative district in Assam, India. The district is located about 140 km from Dispur, the capital of Assam. Its administrative headquarters is in Nagaon. Assamese, Bengali and Bodo are the major languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total area of 3,973 km², including 3,892.42 km² of rural area and 80.58 km² of urban area.
