Marigaon District, Assam

Marigaon District is an administrative district in the state of Assam, India. It is situated about 80 km from Dispur, the state capital of Assam. The district headquarters is located at Marigaon. Assamese and Bengali are the main languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 1,551 km², including 1,525.50 km² of rural area and 25.50 km² of urban area.
