Patna District is an administrative district in the state of Bihar, India. The district headquarters is located at Patna. Hindi, Maithili, Urdu and English are among the main languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 3,202 km², including 2,932.23 km² of rural area and 269.77 km² of urban area.
