Rohtas
Rohtas is a district in the Bihar State of India. Total area of Rohtas is 3,881 km² including 3,794.52 km² rural area and 86.48 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Rohtas has a population of 29,59,918 peoples, out of which urban population is 4,27,765 while rural population is 25,32,153. Rohtas has a sex ratio of approximately 917 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 763 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 4,60,345 houses in the district, including 69,951 urban houses and 3,90,394 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 1,717 villages in rohtas district.
The Rohtas district is further divided in to Subdivisions / Blocks / PS / Community Development Blocks (C.D.Blocks) for administrative purposes.
