Hamirpur District, Himachal Pradesh
Hamirpur is an administrative district in Himachal Pradesh, India. The district is located about 170 km from Shimla, the capital of Himachal Pradesh. Its administrative headquarters is in Hamirpur. Hindi and Pahari are the major languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total area of 1,118 km², including 1,106.39 km² of rural area and 11.61 km² of urban area.
