Kangra District, Himachal Pradesh

Kangra District is an administrative district in the state of Himachal Pradesh, India. It is situated about 240 km from Shimla, the state capital of Himachal Pradesh. The district headquarters is located at Dharamshala. Hindi, Pahari, Gaddi and Tibetan are among the main languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 5,739 km², including 5,691.34 km² of rural area and 47.66 km² of urban area.

Population of Kangra District
