Bengaluru Rural District, Karnataka

Bengaluru Rural District is an administrative district in the state of Karnataka, India. It is situated about 40 km from Bengaluru, the state capital of Karnataka. The district headquarters is located at Bangalore. Kannada is the main language spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 2,298 km², including 2,229.55 km² of rural area and 68.45 km² of urban area.
