Thrissur District, Kerala
Thrissur is an administrative district in Kerala, India. The district is located about 260 km from Thiruvananthapuram, the capital of Kerala. Its administrative headquarters is in Thrissur. Malayalam is the major language spoken in the district. The district covers a total area of 3,027 km², including 1,865.83 km² of rural area and 1,161.17 km² of urban area.
