Nashik
Nashik is a district in the Maharashtra State of India. Total area of Nashik is 15,530 km² including 14,882.79 km² rural area and 647.21 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Nashik has a population of 61,07,187 peoples, out of which urban population is 25,97,373 while rural population is 35,09,814. Nashik has a sex ratio of approximately 934 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 393.3 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 12,22,887 houses in the district, including 5,45,577 urban houses and 6,77,310 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 1,919 villages in nashik district.
