Bishnupur District, Manipur

Bishnupur District is an administrative district in the state of Manipur, India. It is situated about 30 km from Imphal, the state capital of Manipur. The district headquarters is located at Bishnupur. Meitei (Manipuri) and Bishnupuri are the main languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 496 km², including 458.98 km² of rural area and 37.02 km² of urban area.
