Imphal West District, Manipur

Imphal West District is an administrative district in the state of Manipur, India. It is situated about 5 km from Imphal, the state capital of Manipur. The district headquarters is located at Lamphelpat. Meitei (Manipuri) is the main language spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 519 km², including 449.82 km² of rural area and 69.18 km² of urban area.
