Bageshwar District, Uttarakhand

Bageshwar District is an administrative district in the state of Uttarakhand, India. It is situated about 440 km from Dehradun, the state capital of Uttarakhand. The district headquarters is located at Bageshwar. Hindi and Kumaoni are the main languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 2,241 km², including 2,235.50 km² of rural area and 5.50 km² of urban area.
