Almora District, Uttarakhand
Almora District is an administrative district in the state of Uttarakhand, India. It is situated about 370 km from Dehradun, the state capital of Uttarakhand. The district headquarters is located at Almora. Hindi and Kumaoni are the main languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 3,144 km², including 3,108.32 km² of rural area and 35.68 km² of urban area.
