Almora District, Uttarakhand
Almora is an administrative district in Uttarakhand, India. The district is located about 370 km from Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand. Its administrative headquarters is in Almora. Hindi and Kumaoni are the major languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total area of 3,144 km², including 3,108.32 km² of rural area and 35.68 km² of urban area.
