Nainital District, Uttarakhand

Nainital District is an administrative district in the state of Uttarakhand, India. It is situated about 310 km from Dehradun, the state capital of Uttarakhand. The district headquarters is located at Nainital. Hindi and Kumaoni are the main languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 4,251 km², including 4,153.12 km² of rural area and 97.88 km² of urban area.
