Nainital District, Uttarakhand
Nainital is an administrative district in Uttarakhand, India. The district is located about 310 km from Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand. Its administrative headquarters is in Nainital. Hindi and Kumaoni are the major languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total area of 4,251 km², including 4,153.12 km² of rural area and 97.88 km² of urban area.
