Pithoragarh District, Uttarakhand

Pithoragarh is an administrative district in Uttarakhand, India. The district is located about 510 km from Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand. Its administrative headquarters is in Pithoragarh. Hindi and Kumaoni are the major languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total area of 7,090 km², including 7,073.50 km² of rural area and 16.50 km² of urban area.
