Bongaigaon District, Assam
Bongaigaon is an administrative district in Assam, India. The district is located about 180 km from Dispur, the capital of Assam. Its administrative headquarters is in Bongaigaon. Assamese, Bengali and Bodo are the major languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total area of 1,093 km², including 1,061.31 km² of rural area and 31.69 km² of urban area.
