Ladakh
Ladakh is a union territory located in the northern region of India. It was established on 31-Oct-2019. The capital of the union territory is Kargil in winter and Leh in summer. Leh is the largest city. The official languages are Hindi, English. Major rivers of Ladakh include Indus, Shyok, Zanskar.
As per Census 2011, Ladakh has a total geographical area of 59,146 square kilometres, including 59,000 square kilometres of rural area and 146 square kilometres of urban area.
Judicial matters are handled by the High Court of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. Ladakh shares borders with Jammu And Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, and has an international border with China, Pakistan.
