Perambalur

Perambalur is a district in the Tamil Nadu State of India. Total area of Perambalur is 1,756 km² including 1,672.33 km² rural area and 83.67 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Perambalur has a population of 5,65,223 peoples, out of which urban population is 97,163 while rural population is 4,68,060. Perambalur has a sex ratio of approximately 1003 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 322 inhabitants per square kilometre.
