Allahabad

Allahabad is a district in the Uttar Pradesh State of India. Total area of Allahabad is 5,482 km² including 5,279.07 km² rural area and 202.93 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Allahabad has a population of 59,54,391 peoples, out of which urban population is 14,72,873 while rural population is 44,81,518. Allahabad has a sex ratio of approximately 901 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 1086 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 9,76,733 houses in the district, including 2,55,722 urban houses and 7,21,011 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 2,809 villages in allahabad district.
