Purba Bardhaman District, West Bengal

Purba Bardhaman is an administrative district in West Bengal, India. The district is located about 110 km from Kolkata, the capital of West Bengal. Its administrative headquarters is in Bardhaman. Bengali is the major language spoken in the district. The district covers a total area of 7,024 km², including 6,095.98 km² of rural area and 928.02 km² of urban area.
