Purba Bardhaman District, West Bengal

Purba Bardhaman District is an administrative district in the state of West Bengal, India. It is situated about 110 km from Kolkata, the state capital of West Bengal. The district headquarters is located at Bardhaman. Bengali is the main language spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 7,024 km², including 6,095.98 km² of rural area and 928.02 km² of urban area.
