Nadia District, West Bengal

Nadia District is an administrative district in the state of West Bengal, India. It is situated about 105 km from Kolkata, the state capital of West Bengal. The district headquarters is located at Krishnanagar. Bengali is the main language spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 3,927 km², including 3,604.05 km² of rural area and 322.95 km² of urban area.
