Birbhum District, West Bengal
Birbhum is an administrative district in West Bengal, India. The district is located about 210 km from Kolkata, the capital of West Bengal. Its administrative headquarters is in Suri. Bengali is the major language spoken in the district. The district covers a total area of 4,545 km², including 4,424.56 km² of rural area and 120.44 km² of urban area.
