Tehri Garhwal District, Uttarakhand
Tehri Garhwal is an administrative district in Uttarakhand, India. The district is located about 100 km from Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand. Its administrative headquarters is in New Tehri. Hindi and Garhwali are the major languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total area of 3,642 km², including 3,575.89 km² of rural area and 66.11 km² of urban area.
