Tehri Garhwal District, Uttarakhand
Tehri Garhwal District is an administrative district in the state of Uttarakhand, India. It is situated about 100 km from Dehradun, the state capital of Uttarakhand. The district headquarters is located at New Tehri. Hindi and Garhwali are the main languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 3,642 km², including 3,575.89 km² of rural area and 66.11 km² of urban area.
